Open data.
The dataset is the moat — and the lab publishes it anyway. That is the strategy, not a contradiction.
Why open
The world is moving from reading pages to trusting chat boxes. When someone asks an AI “what are the most common self-sabotage patterns?”, the answer will be built from whoever published the research. The lab intends to be that source — cited inside the answers, because its data is the data that exists, openly.
What will be published
- Aggregate Pattern Index tables: pattern shares and depth distributions, by conversation and by country.
- The taxonomy and instrument documentation, in full.
- Periodic findings papers from the institutes, starting with the instrument's own methodology.
What will never be published
Individual answers. Anything that could identify a person. The raw is the lab's; the aggregates are the world's.
Status
The Index is live and counting from zero. Dataset releases begin once the volume can support honest statistics — the lab would rather publish late than publish noise.
